放在90年代应该是顶级的恶搞电影，慢慢的廉价风可以溢出屏幕，Lou Ferrigno表现得像是一个胸大无脑的读台词动作替身，每一个表情和每一句台词，甚至是对人物的表现都与剧本所描述的背道而驰；剧情方面，电影使用了大量的旁白来推进剧情，实际上只是为了弥补故事中的过场以及近乎每个人物的平面化，与50、60年代的同Sinbad题材的冒险电影相比，本座无论是特效、故事还是魅力都是呈直线下滑的倒退。
